Toddler Program (12 Months to 24 Months)
As infants blossom into curious, energetic toddlers, our Toddler Program offers a warm, structured environment where early independence, language development, and social connection take center stage. This is a magical age—full of first words, first friendships, and first discoveries—and our classrooms are designed to nurture each child’s growing sense of self with intention, joy, and gentle guidance.
A World of Movement, Music, and Exploration
Toddlers learn with their whole bodies, and our daily rhythm reflects this natural drive to move, touch, and explore. Within spacious, light-filled classrooms, children participate in enrichment experiences such as le yoga, la musique, and creative movement, each led by specialized instructors who bring expertise, enthusiasm, and warmth. These activities support balance, coordination, and early motor development while introducing children to the joy of self-expression.

Early Language Blossoms in a Bilingual Environment
This stage is a linguistic explosion, and our bilingual French–English setting provides the perfect foundation for early language acquisition. Through histoires, jeux, songs, finger plays, and simple conversational exchanges, toddlers absorb vocabulary naturally and joyfully. Teachers model language through repetition, gestures, and rich storytelling, helping children build comprehension and confidence in both languages.
Sensory Play That Sparks Curiosity
Toddlers make sense of the world through their senses, and our program offers abundant opportunities for tactile, auditory, and visual exploration. Activities may include:
- Water and sand play
- Finger painting and clay modeling
- Nature-inspired sensory bins
- Simple science provocations
- Textures, colors, and sound exploration
These experiences strengthen cognitive development, fine motor skills, and early problem‑solving while encouraging children to observe, experiment, and wonder.
Social Development and Gentle Independence
As toddlers begin to interact more intentionally with peers, we guide them through the earliest stages of social-emotional learning. With patient modeling and consistent routines, children practice:
- Sharing and turn-taking
- Expressing needs and emotions
- Building early friendships
- Participating in group activities
- Developing self-help skills
We encourage budding independence through simple routines—washing hands, tidying toys, choosing materials—helping toddlers feel capable, confident, and proud of their growing autonomy.
A Foundation for Lifelong Learning
Every moment in our Toddler Program is an opportunity to nurture curiosity, empathy, and early cognitive skills. Through bilingual exposure, sensory-rich experiences, and joyful movement, toddlers begin to develop the building blocks of communication, creativity, and social connection. This stage sets the tone for a lifelong love of learning—l’amour d’apprendre—and prepares children beautifully for the next steps in their educational journey.
